UPPER HUTT DISASTER

An inquest was held to-day concerning the death of Virgil McGovorn, the eighth victim of the Upper Hutt fire and explosion. The Coroner, Mr Riddell, returned a verdict that the deceased died from injuries accidentally received from an explosion of gelignite in Benge and Pratt's store, at Upper Hutt..
