At the Magistrate's Court at Wellington vesterday two men, Albeit Hansen and Harry Spooner, -were charged with stealing and offering for sale furniture be-lon-'in- to a woman resident m l'rcdericks street, who had been ordered to undergo detention m connection with a, case heard last week. In the afternoon of the day the woman was sent to the Salvation Armv Home the accused went to her place and removed the furniture, which they attempted to sell to a se-cond-hand dealer. The accused pleaded cTuilty and -were committed for sentence. Hansen was also fined 40s, or one month, for resisting arrest.—Press Association.
