SHOOTING FATALITIES

CHRISTCHTJRCH, March 8. ; Alfred"Raiislev, 45 years old, a telegraph messenger, re. iding at Addington, shot himself with a double-barrelled gun this morning. He had been ill for some time. , ~ , The body of Frederick Lanaon Momdev, son of Mr E. C. Mouldey, a wellknown wine merchant, was found on the Port Hills, above his father's residence, at Heathcote, with a gun shot wound through his throat. At the inquest it w-as stated that Mouldey was out shooting rabbits on Friday at about 11.30 a.m., and chatted with a neighbour, whom he left to. go to d.nner. The neighbour found the body yesterday lyits back, with the gun resting on the left shoulder, the left' arm over the gun. It appeared as if Mouldey had been trying to get through' a gate. A verdict was returned of by ing accidentally ehot whilst shooting rabbits.
