Mr Hymnu Orafi'e has been sworn in ri magistrate for Limerick. He i* the first member of the Jewish community to be appointed to the commission in the city. A .survivor of'the Mold Argced (Flintshire) colfiery disaster of 1837, who was 10 .years old at the time, and was entombed in the mine f<;r a week, has died at Mold, aged 86.
