SIR WILLIAM LEVER
INTERVIEW AT SYDNEY. (Pbess Association. —Copyright.) (Rec. 10.l r a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Sir William Lever, head of Lever Bros., has arrived.in Sydney from an extended visit to the firm's plantations in the Islands. In an interview he strongly advocated big firms in Sydney and elsewhere adopting Levers' profitsharing system wherewith he declared lie was well satisfied that it- tended to make the employees take greater interest in their work and become more efficient. The "Herald" states that- Lever Bros, intend to establish large works, in New Zealand similar to those in Sydney.
