Mr. D. Collins, chairman of the Cattle Markets Committee of the London County Council, states that the Corporation of London is negotiating with the ■Government with a. view of reviving the' Deptf ord market as a e«i*re for colonial supplies. Besides being an advantage in peace time, it would render Great Britain independent of foreign countries in war time. ,
