Over four thousand home savingsbanks, in the form of stout little steel boxes, have up to the present been obtained by savings, banks depositors residing in the Wellington postal district, says the "Times." The' boxes were first made available in November. 1908, and some are reported to be presented weekly or monthly at the various offi.ee* for examination of their contents and the augmentation of deposits.
