A new tunic is now on issue io senior sergeants of police. It somewhat resembles the uniform of a sub-inspector, but the principal distinction between it and the garment it supersedes is that there are no stripes on the right sleeve, a crown being worn instead. The tunic is very smart in appearance, and is a decided improvement to the uniform.
