PRISONERS RECAPTURED
SHOT AT BY A MAORI. (Unitkd Press Association.) ROTORUA, Feb. 11. On Monday morning two prisoners, Charles Victor Raymond Stanley, and James Ros6, escaped from the tree-plant-ing camp at Kalngaroa plains, and were Tecaptured by Maori?, last night. On being challenged both rau away. One of the Maoris fired, a rifle, the bullet lodging in Ross's buttock. The injury was slight.
