WELLINGTON, Nov. 25

The annual meeting of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Associaticu was held to-night. It was decide-d to notify the centres that certain clubs were unfinaiuial, and o request that they hav'3 no represema,ion on the centres until their subscriptions are paid. The following officers were elected : President. ,Mr. A. Marrvatt (re-elected) ; vios-presidents, Messrs C. E. Bridge aifd T. C. Cusack; hon. secretary ;-nd treasurer, Mr. W. G. Talbot; hen. auditor, Mr. C. D. Morpeth; reinstatementcommittee, Messrs AV. F. Lar'kin, C. E. Bridge and B. A. Guise. The New Zealand championship meet ing for next year was allotted to Wellington. The chairman said it had been pracicallv decided to secure a visit from •everal of America's champion athletes, ind it retrained for tho meeting to make ho final arrangements. About £3OO .vas required to finance, the tour, and the .'cllo'wing guarantees had been- received: Wellington ££o. and half the .profits : ~)ta<:o £SO; Masterton and Southland £3O each, and half the profits. If a ontract was entered into the m:n would •rrive in Wellington about January 2nd. He said it must .be understood that the our would be under the auspices of the Vpw Zealand Association, and that body mlv. It was not a matter for the Australasian Union. If the .tour was expended to Australia, it would: be by exore=s agreement with the New Zealand Association.

It was decided to cable to Mr. 1 TJnrack and agree to the tour, provided the team comprises the following: Hor'ne (for .preference) or Rose, Smithson, Nfaclur?, a sprinter not Tia.rred, and Mr. Unmnck as mona.ger. A -sub-committee consisting of Messrs Marrvatt, Bridge, and Guise was apoointed to arrange the details of the tour.

.Mr. Crouch (the retiring Ota.go delegate) promised a challenge shield for ■oir.petition among the schools in New Zealand. W. H. Whitaker (In vercargill). and Roy Fordham (Auckland) were granted '•■sinsta.tement. It was decided to reinstate a nivrrber of athletes in Blenheim provided the clu'b h?comes affiliated.
