The president of 'the Lab&ii'r Council declared that Mr Beeby : (Minister for Education and Labour) has riot been "turned down," and he denies receiving' any official communication form the Labour Executive regarding the referenda. He says further that lie would not support any -proposal for the transference of the whole commerce power to the Commonwealth.
