A gang of r.rmed men entered Faulkner's jewellery prerr.ises in St. Martin's Lane, felled the proprietor, and stclf diamond jewellery valued at £SOO. Burglars at the Civil Service Stores in the Haymarket stole £IOOO worth of jewellery.
