THE MAIN ITEMS. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, This (Day. The Supplementary Estimates were brought ttown *Ly Governor's Message in the House at 9 o'clock last night. The chief features are as under : Tile sum of £297 is voted to Mrs M. • E. Parker in respect of an accident causing the death of her husband whilst' discharging his duties as a, telegraph linesman. The sum of £250 is voted as a contribution towards the cost of the law library for judges at Wellington, and: £SOO is put forward as a grant to the Solici-tor-<Jeneral to cover the expenses of his visit to England in connection witn the Webster claims. In the department of Internal Affairs the Under-Secretary, who received £550 a year, receives an increase of £650. The Chief Clerk goes up from £3lO to £335, and the Accountaiiu from £290 to £3OO. > ' .
