STRIKERS ATTACK NON-UNIONISTS PUBLICHOUSES RUSHED DURING LUNCH TIME. (Pbkss Association. —Copyright.) (Received July 11, 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, July 10. At the entrance to the Surrey Commercial Dock, a thousand strikers, armed with knives, bottles, and stones, awaited "two hundred non-unionists at the luncheon hour. They rushed the publichouses where the non-unionists lunched, and attempted to wreck one-,- whereupon the landlord Sred-a revolver, and kept the mob back until the non-unionists escaped through, back windows. A number were taken to the hospital suffering from shot wounds. A great" crowd collected, but the mounted police, "by baton charges, restored order. ACTIVITY AT THE DOCKS. * ; LONDON, July 10. The're are 16,565 men working at the -The - Port of' London ' "Authority announces that work at most of the wharves is normal. The master lightermen, including* the coal factors, have organised an excellent emergency service.
