MINING EXAMINATIONS.
RESULTS FOR THE DOMINION. (United Press Association,) WELLINGTON, May 20. The annual meeting of the Board of Exair iners under the Mining Act takes place in Wellington to-morrow. The examination results are as follows : —First class pass : J. R. Thompson (VVaihi); partial pass, T. Sullivan (Reefton), A. J. Walker (Waihi). Batery superintendent passes : R. Hindmarsh (Reefton), C. Kingston (Waihi); partial passes,: W. E. Brown (Reefton), H. Lawn (Reefton), F. S. Orr (Reefton). Dredge master's certificates : J. A. Sparrow (Upper Nevis) and D. J. Archer (Ngakawau). First class mine engineer under Coal Mines Act: J. Milligan (Denniston); second class certificate, S. Newburg (Kaitangata), J. Neilson (Runanga); partial pass, Jas. Allen (Brunnerton).
