A SERIOUS ACCIDENT.
AN OLD MAN BURNT. An old man named Abbott, of Takaka, was admitted to the Hospital last evening, suffering from severe D.urns to his left arm. It appears that Abbott had an epileptic seizure and fell into the fire, sustaining, the' injuries mentioned. He was brought to Nelson in .the steamer Hina last' evening, 'and though in a serious condition when admitted to the Hospital. it is learnt on inquiry this-after-noon that the patient iis making satis-t factory progress towards recovery. .
