A telegram has been received by the secretarv" of .the Waitcmata Swimming Club late to-night from. M. E. Champion, .the Auckland cr'ack swimmer, which stated that Champion had not sailed for England by the Olympia as expected, but iwas returning "to Auckland from .Wellington hv Saturday's express. WELLINGTON, This Day.
Malcolm Champion, the Auckland swimmer-,who represents New Zealand at the Olympic games, sailed by the Athenic this morning for London.
