The "Vorwaerts" reports a remarkable ca,se before a Berlin Court, in which an hotelkeeper was sentenced to a year's hard labour for bribing n workman to take his place in prison. The hotelkeeper ha-H been sentenced to three -weeks' imprisonment for a small offence, and, or, is usual, was allowed time to arrange h'r. affairs before going to prison.
