THEATRE RuYAL. HAYWAED'S PICTURES. The management of Hnvward's Pictures regri t their inability to show at the Theatre Royal last night, the programme being on board, the Nikau. which 1 was -detained in Motu-eka. The new series will bo- shown to-night ar.d comprises a complete change of subjects, tho principal attraction a Vitagraph triumph. "Da.l's lJov." Bob is a boy hero of the American civil wai', and after a. most exciting scene he rescues his father trom the enemy's camp. "Her Hero"' and •'.Selecting his Heiress" are both by the Vitagraph Company. "TTle Tragedy of a Strike" is another good film. "YVild Birds in their Haunts'' is a. film by Pathe. and the operator took over three years to secure the collection. The comedies an. especially good, and include "The Acrobat's Joke,"' "Sammy likes to sho wofi." and '"Tis better to have Loved and Lost." The srenic and topical films are "Pictunsque Heldersteim" aixl the latest "Pathe Gazette." THE SCHOOL OF MUSIC. FULLERS' PICTURES. A packed house last evening greeted the installation of the new programme at Fullers" Picturts and every sign of appreciation was manifested. There will be no show of pictures this evening, the hal! otherwise engaged. To-mor-row evening the series will receive its final showing. It contains many items of more than usual interest. including "Moonstone." founded on tlie fascinating story by Wilkie Collins: "Lieut. Ilose and the Moorish Raiders."' the finest of the Lieut. Rose series, and a budget of other stars.
