FOUND DEAD IN A YARD.
EVIDENCE AS TO HEAVY DRINKING. {Uniied Press Association.) TE KUTTI, This Day. Early on Sunday morning, John Farrell, a settler from the Rangitoto Block, was discovered dead in Soloman's yard, Otorohanga. An inquest was opened on Monday, and adjourned for a week. The evidence showed that deceased got liquor upon the train on Saturday, and that deceased and others had taken liquor to Solomon's, and had consumed a considerable quantity. Witnesses' recollection of what happened further was verv hazv.
