The steamer Waipori lying at Edinburgh, was driven fi'om ier moorings, and subsequently drifted aS A* I lighthouse on the jetty was blown down. , , . .. ~ There was severe damage to buildings, at Adelaide, roofs being lifted and chimneys blown down.

Later. • Tlio Waipori was towed off apparently undamaged.
