EXPLOSION IN A COAL MINE
SEVEN MEN KILLED. (Press Association. —Copyright.) OTTAWA, March 8. Seven men were killed by a gas explosion at the Merritt mines, British Columbia. Eleven men were entombed during rescue operations, through caves-:n- occurring in the main shaft, but all escaped, managing to reach another level.
