THEATRE ROYAL. HAYWARD'S PICTURES. - The secemd sereening of Hayward s Pictures at. the Theatre Royal last evuiill <r- was witnesed by a large and dtlinhU'd audit nee. To-morrow tile change of programme will be shown only in the afternoon and evening, the '1 heatre bring otherwise engaged on -Monday and Tuesday next. "Wednesday avening's progifemme of Fuller's Pictures will be shown to-night for the last time. The list includes " The Trail of Hooks."' "When Love is Blind, "The Abyss," and "The Cowboy's Bride." There are several comedies, and a good collection of travel, industrial and scenic pictures. Nearly the whole ot (he flour space of the hall is now available for the sixpinny seats, while there is also a separate entrance tor the circle —two improvements which will doubtless be much appreciated by botk sections of Fuller's audiences. ' .ASCTIECK. Many entertainers have visited Nelson from time to time, but there has rarely been such a versatile performer as Joseph BlaschvJck. whose tour is Australia has becjn remarkable for the unbounded enthusiasm it has aroustd. Columns of praise havo .appeared in the leading newspapers, and the* critics have been unanimous in their verdicts. The most remarkalilt feature of his performance appears to be the wonderful raime o] wci'K. Ho can send his audience into fits of laughter, and in the twinkling of an eye can bring a Jump into the throat, and a tear in the eye by his genius as an actor. It is prophesied that his success else where will be repeated here next Monday and Tuesday at the Theatre Royal. The box plan is open at Jackson's, and no extra charge ior booking is made.
