(TJnitbd Press Association.} HASTINGS, "Wednesday The feature most deserving special com mendation at the Hawkes' Bay show was the splendid exhibits of apples, peaches, and crapes from the Arataki experimental farm. The value of the work done bv this station was fairly demonstrated bv the interest shown bv the public iti this displav. Mr. T>. Say (Auckland) iudsre of the fruit and horticultural section, complimented Mr. T. West, actingmanager, and said it was about as comprehensive and instructive an exhibit as he had over had before him. He expressed great appreciation; of .the Agricultural Department s work and td improvements by .orchardists, and in frmi exhibits this year, when compared wUI previous vears, testified what the commercial value of experimental is to the fruit growing industry in Isev Zealand..
