ELECTION O*F OFFICERS. (Unixktd Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The A.S.R.S. conference was continued yesterday at Wellington. It was decided to make the gathering triennial and to abandon the biennial principle. Mr. W. Wilson (Palmerston North) was elected president for the ensuing three years, .with the following executive:—North Island : Traffic Department: D. Dwyer; maintenance, L. Geraghty; workshops, J. H. Whitburn ; locomotive, A Whisker. South Island : Traffic, P. Gaines j workshops, J. Baraett; maintenance, E. Dash; locomotive, F. Hutchins.
