H<nry Edward Dennett, alias Henry Davis, alias Thomas Tubbing, an escapee from the Taihape gaol, where he ivas waiting trial w a charge of assault and robbery, alleged to have been committed at, Opotiki, \vas re-arrested, by Sergx. Hiitton and Detective Mitchell on the s s Victoria on Saturday. He was brought, before the Magistrate. Mr. Barton, and remanded to appear at laihape on Wednesday.
