HON G. FOWLDS.

HIS INTENTIONS, vKy Telegraph. I (b rum Our Own Correspondent.) AUCKLAND, This Day. In a few remarks at tile "At home" given to his supporters oh Saturday, the Hon. G. Fo\vld« said he woultl not .nake a political speech on this occasion, out he expected ati an early date to invite the members of his election committees to meet him, and to talk business. He was in no way depressed at the result cl the election. His present holiday was doing him good, and he would be the better fitted for service when the electors of Grey Lynn desired to again call him back as their representative. He had no feeling of bitterness, t:r complaint in regard to the election, and he did not even blame himself very much in connection with it. The circumstances were very unique, and might never occur again. He thanked his supporters for past support, and hoped that when opportunity came thev would be again ready to fight alongside of him.
