Arbano, who confessed to implication in the taxi cab' robbery, declared that he robbed the robbers who stole the £SOOO from the bank messengers. Arbano, entering the saloon whore the loot was beino- divided, bluffed the men, they giving him £2OOO as he was departing. Two other men held him up and he was obliged to part with some booty. He then fled to Havanna, where women relieved him of the balance.
