A telegram has been Teecived by the Acting-Prime Minister (Sir Jaem s Carroll) from the Maoris at, Co-lac Bay as follows:' —'""We, tlie Maoris of C'olae Bay_ desire you to convey to his Excellency Baron Islington our greetings and allegiance to their Excellent Majesties Ei»£ George and Queen Mary, being loyal subjects of their Majesties in the Dominion of Xew Zealand. "We, therefore, uphold this Coronation in festivities and congratulations upon the accession/ of their Majesties to the Throne of the British Empire, thereinafter look up to them as the great; parent, of our Maori race, trusting God to guard them throughout their reign."
