RICHMOND. THE CORONATION BALL. The Coironation ball held ii\ Richmond on Thursday night was a- 'great success, tib.e capacity of tilw Oddfellows' Hall being taxed to the utmost to aicconrnnodat-e over forty comples. Nearly all the dancers ware in fancy dires-k, and represented 'tihe styles fashionaiblfe in England from the Elizabethan; era down to. the early Victorian. In addi-tiicm there were sets of Japanese, of Pierrots, of Gdpsies. of Spaniards, -of Pirates, a.nd Girl Scouts, etc. The hall was ibnilliiaautly decorated with Hags, lanterns aind ferns, and the stage was well filled with spectators, to whcnn tihe <ray diieases of -tihe dancers and the bright decorations ovar'head presented sucih a 'Maze of colour 'tbait the Coronation of 1911 is not likely to be forgotten, by -thoj.e who participated in this diappy scene. The music, supplied by Mr. and Mrs. H. Mayo, was excellent."
