DROWNED IN A DITCH.
DEATH OF A BLENHEIM FISHERMAN. BLENHEIM, Friday. This morning the body of a fisherman named Edward Heppleston was found in a ditch containing about 6in. of water. The deceased was last seen last .night at 10 o'clock, and it is presumed that he was en h:« way home when lie fell into the ditch. He was a. native of England and it is unknown whether there are any relatives in New Zealand.
