The special Coronation display of meat maJc by Mr F. Fairey attracted a largo number of visiters. The disnlay was an excellent one, -and its value was enhanced from the- fact that the whole of the meat was> Nelson-raised. Almost tho whole of the sheep were from the farm of Mr Alex. Drtrm.moiid, of "Wangapeka. and. a fine bullock came from the same place. The beast was 4 years old. and weighed' out 11 cwt. of beef. Mr Fairey describes the meat as the best lot he has ever hung in his shop, and this is a tribute to the quality of locally-bred stock.
