FIRES.
OUTBREAK AT LANSDOWNE. ] DESTRUCTION OF A LARGE STOREHOUSE. (United Press Association.) MASTERTON. Wednesday. A fire occurred at midday to-day al Lansdowne, near Masterton. A large store-house, containing 5000 gallons of wine and a large number of implements ■and a-"large quantity of 1 furniture belonging to Mr H. G. Williams, were destroyed. The damage on £3OOO.
