At a conference on sleeping sickness held in London, it was resolved that th.e Capo to Cairo railway should be inspected for glossina palpolis; that the railways must cross the flybelt at the narrowest point to stations within the glossing infected area; iind that it is essential there should be clear ground on either side of the railway.
