At the inquiry .into the Beron Eva Pitterson, the accused Steamer Morrison's lover, gave evidence that she saw Morrison wearing a five-pound piece pendant attached to his wateh-ehain. Prisoner" In Court vehemently denied this; and alleged tLut the evi"dence was lies. bein,cr the rcsu.lt of jealousy. He cried: "Do yon know you are taking my life?" Other evidence showed thrst Beron wore a five pound piece.
