TWO BUSINESS PLACES DESTROYED.

AUCKLAND, Wednes
A fire at Pukekohe destroyed two large buildings—one owned by Mr S. A. AVhyte, and occupied by Mr. Vanziona, chemist, and. the other owned by Samntl Vaile and Co., and ocupied bv M:•Wright, their local agent. Mr. Vanziona's stock was destroyed, but Mr Wright's furniture and office fittings were saved. Both buildings were insured, Mr. Vaile's in the Royal for =>-*% A). the loss being estimate dat £2OO ; and Mr Vanziona's loss is estimated at £do9, covered by insurance.
