"Welington, returning balance-sheet,- found correct. —Mr T. balder, fe "Government grant. £SO for forming road from Torrent Bay to Marahan. —-The Treasury. Wellington,*; iStWti'Eg timt .the sum of £26 13s 9d has been placed to the credit of
the Riwaka Board at tlie Bank of Xew Zealand, Motuek-a. Resolutions were passed as un-der:-—That all accounts presented be paid (cheques passed for payment amounted to £27 lis- 6d). —That owing to damage being done by cattle to road and diteh at Dhora D'hoon, that .those responsible/be requested to clear -saime—That the Board notify Mr R. Fry 'to remove the fence that he erected on t'iie public road on east side -of .his property, requesting same to be complied with within 28 d'avs. —That the Chairman interview Messrs Fry and Geo. Deck in reference to the proposed bridge at Unikuri. laying "before them the probable cost of same, and aLso ascertain if they will make' t'heir contribution in accordance with the estimated value.
