CHTUSTCIIU"CH. Yesterday. At'the Addington live stcck market there was a larger yarding of .stock, and there was a good attendance of buyers. Fat cattie maintained their values, and the fat sheep market opened well, but eased towards the close. Store cattle were hi poor demand, and dairy c ' nws sold well. There was a. lair sale for all classes of nigs. The entry of store sheep showed an increase oil the previous week s total. and was made up principally of hog o-etts. with a few lines of ewes and wethers. The hoggetts were of fanaverage quality, and included a number of lines of Southdown crosses. . Ihe wethers were chiefly in good condition but the ewes were nearly all aged. 'there was practically no change m va-j lues, though the demand for aged ewes was rather better. Forward wethers | made 15s to 16s 7d. and low conditioned half-bre'ds 12s 10d. Six and eighttooth ewes were passed at 18s 10u.' and aged sorts made 7s 9d to 10s 9d. W ether hoggetts fetched lis 9d to 12s lid. smaller 10s 3d to lis : mixed s-x-xes 12s 6d to 14s 7d ; others 10s 7d to lis 6d.
