TAPAWERA HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Motueka Valley Horticultural Society was held at 'Tapawcra on Tue-lay evening. Mr John Rutherfurd occupied the chair.The report and balance-sheet showed a credit 'balance of £lO 17s (3d on 'the year's operations. It was resolved to hold the next .show on Easter Monday, April 17th, 0911, and it was decided to include •dog trials in the entertainments of 'that dav. A special committee was formed for the purpose of arranging .the trials. Mr John Rutherfurd was r-elected president; Messrs Alex. Drummond, (Geo, Macmalion, and X. Innes-.Jones /were elected vice-presidents; Dr. Hudson v-as re-elected secretary and treasurer, with the Rev. M. Lawrecce as assistant secretary. A vote of thanks to the chairman 'brought the meeting to a close.
