THE OIL AND SHALE INDUSTRY. [Press Association —Copyright.] MELBOURNE, Tuesday. Mr. Tudor informed a deputation asking for a bonus for the development of the oil and shale industry that the Government had decided to introduce in the near future a Bounties Bill providing for a bonus of £IO.OOO a year for five years, for the production of refined kerosene in Australia. The conditions would be so framed that imported crude oil refined in Australia would not be eligible for the bounty.
