CHRIST CHURCH LADIES' GUILD
The annual Sale of Work in connection with the Parish of Christ Church was opened at the Diocesan Librarv tlns afternoon. Artistic decoration's have made a charming picture. and .Messrs Hurst and Katterns, who are responsible for the decorations, are- to be complimented on the general effect, and especially the pretty sweets Two competitions have been arranged—for bats and poggy bags—the public recording their votes. The stallholders are : Work Stall. Mrs Coombe, Misses Cooke and Rose. Sweets Stall, Mesdames. Stevens, Eastcot t, and Leggatt. Produce Stall, Mesdames Ramford and L. Kerr. Fancy Work Stall. Miss Maginnity. Novelty Stall, Misses Mules and Richmond. Tea Kiosk, Mesdames Kempthorne and Maginnity. The Sale of Work will be open from 7to 10 this evening. To-night the Garrison Band will play selections from 7 to 8, and' a musical entertainment has been arranged bv Miss Hunter-Brown. To-morrow evening there will be glees, and an entertainment by the BoyScouts.
