THE COMING CHAMPIONSHIP HOCKEY TORUNAMENT.
(To the Editor.)
Sir. —There will. I think, be many who agree with "Citizen's" letter appearing in vour columns last- week in regard to the iniporiiv il u' of the forthcoming ladies championship hockey tournament to be held in Xolson at the end of the month, and expressing a hope that the citizens will help in entertaining the two or three hundred players who are -expected to attend from all over the Dominion. The importance of the event even from an advertising standpoint cannot be over-estimated. A youn- body like the local Hockey Association is to be congratulated on its enterprise in taking charge <of this important fixture, and from all accounts the tournament promises to be a. great success. and as all the Dominion will be interested in the tournament it behoves all N el-son ians to help it along. I am. etc.. Als OTHER CITIZEN.
