Considerable interest was taken ;i. a case in the Supreme Court to-day. n ■which Prank Leckie. Civil Sorvan'. and his wife seek to recover from \V Krnest Ranson £7S(i, as damages f'«>i budilv injuries alleged to have I" , <'" sustained bv Mrs 'heckle. The e,w is a sequel to an accident which occur red at the Heretnunga links, Hilt Ynl Icy, when the defendant, in swinging i club, is alleged to have struck Mr: Leckie in the face, breaking her nose injuring the frontal base of her skull and severing her olfactory nerve, the result of which was that she lost :i senc of taste and smell.
