Weekly shipments are heavy, especially from the Argentine. Excellent crop prospects are reporter from India. Thero is little inquiry for cargoes; 83s 9d is asked for Victorian and South Australian pei steamers and sailers February-March shipment; 38s 3d New South Wales per sailer February-March; 38s 6d for steamer parcels'afloat; 37s 9d for steamer parcels, March shipment. There are small sales of Australian on spot at 42s 6d. .New Zealand supplies are- exhausted. New wheat, March steamer shipment, is offering at 37s c.i.f.. which is Is to Is 6d above buyers' ideas. About 13,000 quarters Australian March shipment sold at 38s 7J(I, and three cargoes 38s, 38s 3d, 38s 9d respectively. Flour is quiet, Sales March-April shipment 27s c.i.f.

Barley is neglected. Australian maltinnis nominally 25s to 30. ° Oats aro dull. New Zealand Gartons on spot 18s 9d to 21s 6d; Sparrowbills 18s 3d to 20s 3d; La Plata- MarchApril shipment 14s l|d. Messrs Bisley Bros, and Co. have revived the following report from 'their London Agent, Messrs Dalgety and Co., Limited, under date the 12th "inst. : Frozen Meat,-A good demand exists for all descriptions. Pricese for New Zealand lamb are unchanged, but Australian lamb rules Jd higher. Canterbury mutton is lirm at last quotations, but New Zealand North Island and Australian are Jd higher. Prices for beef are id higher.

Wool.—Sales continue firm and lately reported rates are fully maintained. Continental and English'buyers are the principal operators, American buyers hardly doing anything. Decline is chiefly on crossbred wools, greasy, medium, and coarse qualities, suitable for America.

Tallow.—Prices are par to 6d higher. Advance is chiefly on low and inferior qualities.

, Itabbitskins..—New Zealand rabbitskins are 5 per cent higher, other descriptions 10 per cent to 15 per cent higher. Furriers buying freely, even the lower qualities ; 1270 bales were offered and practically sold.
