LONDON, Sunday,
The London Water Board proposes a scheme which will cost £62,000,000, to supply London till 1941, when 420,000,000 gallons a day may be required, so as to provide 35 gallons a day for 12,000,000 people. The new works will necessitate an intake upon the Thames above Staines.
