A CONVICTION QUASHED. (United PrE33 Associ/tion.) CHRISTCHURCH,. Friday. Mir Justice Sim delivered judgment this morning in the case in which M. Barnett, proprietor of '.'Daylight," appealed against the decision of Mr Hasclden, S.M., fining him £20 for tho publication of betting odds on he New Zealand Cup. The appeal was upheld, with costs.
