DUNEDIN, Thursday. •At a meeting of the Methodist Conference Committee on Temperance and Public Morals to-day, the following ma^on -was cixi-rSo^: ' * XHis Oommittee join in protest against having tho dignity and morals of the whole Dominion associated with the opening of Tattersall's Club, in spite of the spirit of the recent legislation, and of the fact .that a very large section of the public holds Tattersall's in abhorrence."
