STOKE RIFLE VOLUNTEERS.

Last Saturday the Stoke Rifles opened its shooting season on the Brightwater range with a competition for Government prize-money. There,was a fair number of competitors, and some good scores- were recorded, especially as the men were unaccustomed to the range aad the sun sets on the right front, making the backsight very indistinct. The conditions were ten snots at 200 yards and ECO yards. The following are the scores of the prize-winners: —
