Yourelle y. the Wellington City CouncU, the jury gave judg- > ment for the plaintiff for £101 13s lOd. The plaintiff, an architect, claimed £64 13s 4d special damages and £250 genepi damages for injuries sustained 'in falling in to a, hole on the Parade at Island Bay in January last. He broko his arm and received other injuries, 'rhe claim involved a charge against the City Council of negligence in not havine the place properly protected and lighted.
