. DUNEDIN, Saturday. Tha football match Otago v. Canterbury was played here to-day in splendid weather, resulting in a win for the former by 9 points to 3.- Otago forwards \rere superior to 'their opponents, especially in the scrums, the result beingithat the Canterbury backs, who were fjuster and more resourceful than those on tho Otago side, got few chances. For the winners Casey and Mitchell scored, and Scott kicked a penalty goal. For Canter. bury Mitchell scored.
